SATC Sequel is confirmed...

First the good news...as predicted long ago, it appears the Sex and the City ladies will be back!

Yes, all those naysayers will go on and on about what can they possibly do with these characters at this point, but Mr Q has faith in Michael Patrick King's writing ability to come up with a good story about women in their 40's and 50's that's fun and interesting...I know most of the entertainment world thinks people cease to exist after 35 but I think this is a positive trend!!

Now the not so good news...

I love ya SJP, but I had to wonder...

Who told you this Breakfast at Tiffany's Audrey Hepburn look was working for you??

Kim looks fab, and Cynthia looks REALLY good (Kristin was in LA and unavailable)...but Sarah J...hmmm...the makeup, the hair, the shoes...might want to rethink it hon...

The girls were all there when sequel news was announced at the DVD party the other night at the New York Public Library!! As more SATC news breaks, you can depend on Mr Q to keep you up to date!!

Have a sunny weekend!

I think so too Lady Ashburn...er, I mean...Anonymous!

Mr Q is hoping the movie starts one of two ways...

No 1 Scenario - Opens with a busy NYC intersection and we see Big in the distance...he starts to cross the intersection and BAM! A big ol' bus hits him ala Six Feet Under's Dad (only he doesn't come back from the dead to talk to Carrie)...no more Big!

No 2 Scenario...The screen is dark and suddenly a light on the side of the bed turns on...it's Carrie and she says "I had to wonder what THAT crazy dream was all about" and Aiden kisses her and says "That's OK sweetie - we'll have KFC for dinner!"...so basically the ending of the last film was a dream ala Bobby dying in Dallas all those years ago...

Whew - this reply was longer than my usual posts!

And just so you know, if you do want to leave your name Lady Ashburn you can just type it in...don't need to be anon if you don't want to be...
