Honey, what's this, what's happening, what's going on here?

This one made me laugh...

There IS a strong resemblance between McCain's VP choice Sarah Palin and Karen Walker isn't there??? Megan Mullally must be THRILLED!

"Martini, honey, and dont waste any space with those olives!"

But seriously, this would seem like good news for the Obama/Biden team...

From AP...

Palin, 44, is a self-styled hockey mom and political reformer who has been governor of her state less than two years.

Palin's selection was a stunning surprise, as McCain passed over many other better known prospects, some of whom had been the subject of intense speculation for weeks or months.

At 44, she is a generation younger that Sen. Joseph Biden of Delaware, who is Barack Obama's running mate on the Democratic ticket.

She is three years Obama's junior, as well _ and McCain has made much in recent weeks of Obama's relative lack of experience in foreign policy and defense matters.

Mr Q understands there has to be strategic thinking in a VP choice, but this pick appears to be nothing more than a big play for Hillary's disenchanted base and the social conservatives that don't think McCain is far enough to the right, doesn't it?

Or we are supposed to believe that he vetted a long list of experienced candidates and came up with Sarah Palin as the best person to potentially fill his shoes as President?

He has non-stop attacks on Obama not being "ready" and then picks a 44 year old governor with less than 2 years experience on his 72nd birthday?? I am certainly not wishing McCain any ill will but statistically it would seem the possibility of Ms. Palin needing to be "ready" to step into the President's role is much higher than Joe Biden's...

Weird choice I think...but it'll be interesting to see a Palin-Biden debate...
